Biography
Has a vast experience of research in the areas of neuropharmacology, Inflammation, Immunopharmacology, Dermatology and Neuoropsychopharmacology. My papers were published in peer-reviewed and highly reputed international journals. My colleague, prof. MA Salih and I discovered a new compound in Vicia faba beans which has potent anticonvulsant activity. The research outcome was published in Epilepsy & behavior which is regarded as the top Journal in Epilepsy research in the world. Has a major contribution in helping establish the PBL curriculum in the College of Medicine at King Fahad Medical City when i was the Chairman of the Basic Medical Sciences department. My present research interests are in obesity, and genome sequencing.
